Lights

The sun peeks out behind the Cascades, slowly and tentatively. Pinks and oranges streak the sky announcing it's prescience. Lake Washington is perfectly still in the cold early morning, creating a perfect reflection of the sky. The water looks perfectly pink.

The crisp winter air brisels against my cheeks, but with a sunrise like today, there is hope for a warm spring on the horizon.

The glass panes of the Seattle skyscrapers reflect the sun, sparkling like the Emerald City that it is.
